THE Bargain Express Win a Car competition is back and bigger than before this year, with a total of four cars up for grabs.

Last year, Bargain Express gave away three new Kia Picantos to three lucky shoppers from the Manaba and Port Shepstone Bargain Express stores. This year, Bargain has upped the stakes by giving away a whopping four cars.

Last year’s winners Yibrah Ghebreyohannes and Zodwa Cele said winning the cars changed their lives forever.

Ghebreyohannes, who stays in and owns a small convenience store in Gayridge in Margate, said the car came right on time as his old bakkie had started to give in.

“I was driving an old bakkie which I was using to buy stock and run errands for the business, and about three days after I won the Picanto with Bargain Express my bakkie completely broke down so it really could not have come at a better time,” said Ghebreyohannes, thanking Bargain.

Cele from Murchison said she still cannot believe that she won a car.

“I’m very grateful to the almighty for his grace in turning just a nobody like me into this huge success. And thank you very much to the Bargain Express management. The car has really made my life a whole lot easier. Really, I am at a loss for words. God is good,” said Cele.

This year, shoppers stand a chance to win one of four Chevrolet Utility 1.4 bakkies.

To enter, spend R100 or more and buy at least one of the participating brand products. Fill out your name and contact details on the back of your till slip and place it in the competition entry box provided in store. The car draws will be held at Bargain Express stores on the following dates:
