THE South Coast Bass Association recently held their Annual General Meeting to close off another successful year for the club.

The meeting, held in Margate, was used to showcase the best of the best as well as to establish a new committee for the next calendar year.

Ferro van Greunen won overall champion for the second time in three years, followed closely by Boet Stewart. Biggest bass for the year was caught by Thys Hoffman. In total, 115 fish were weighed for the year.

Thys Hoffman was voted in as new club chairperson, with Hennie Ferreira as vice. JJ Eales was voted in as Club Secretary and Treasurer.

The club would like to thank all members for all the effort throughout the year and extend a special blessing to Shawn Stewart who is immigrating to New Zealand.

All anglers look forward to starting another prosperous year when they host their first club fish off for the year on June 24.
