IF you’re tired of seeing your children in front of the TV every weekend take them down to Riverbend Crocodile Farm this Sunday for an educational experience.

The farm in Southbroom, celebrates its 35th birthday and has terrific specials and promotions lined up.

Children enter the farm free of charge and adults pay children’s prices on 12 February.

Proceeds from the day will go towards the Margate Child Welfare.

The programme includes a snake demonstration at 2.30pm, followed by crocodile feeding at 3pm and then the rare opportunity for the little ones to witness baby crocodiles hatching at 3.30pm.

“We will be doing a whole lot of lucky draws and proceeds will be going to child welfare.

“In addition we will be offering discounts on all Rosé and bubbly in our wine cellar in celebration of Valentine’s Day,” said owner Howard Kelly. For more details call 039 316 6204. The farm is open from 9am to 4.30pm.
