THE Property of Jesus church biker’s held a blanket run last Saturday, starting at Margate beach and ending at Angels Care Centre in Sezela where the blankets they collected were distributed.

There were 31 bikers who took part in the initiative, including various teams from KZN and the Midlands and Durban Rhino Riders joined.

“The blanket run was a huge success, many thanks to the Midlands and Rhino Riders for their support,” said the president of the club, Willa Cilliers.

“It was exciting to see the number of people who participated and contributed. When we arrived at Angels Care Centre, we roared into the premises where a host of people gathered to look at the bikes and to watch rider’s park their machines. God gave us a good day with perfect weather and a joyful ride,” said Cilliers.
