AFTER much success in 2015, opportunities to see Dan Patlansky in South Africa are occurring less with the blues-rock guitarist returning to Europe in June this year.
However, Patlansky is kicking off 2016 with his Sweet Home Africa Acoustic Tour for his home fans this month. Fans will get the chance to see the maestro play acoustic song versions from his albums 20 Stones (2012), Wooden Thoughts (2013) and Dear Silence Thieves (2014). Patlansky will also play acoustic versions of songs from his new album­ set for release in April, as well as classic covers converted with a modernised touch of blues and rock influences from the thirties, to date.
He will be at Rock Music Bistro in Umzumbe on Friday 29 January from 8pm.
