THE community, businesses, pupils and organisations turned out in numbers to take part in the annual fund-raising Bread of Heaven (BoH) 10km Ambassador Run and five-kilometre fun run or walk, which started and finished at Port Shepstone Senior Primary on Saturday.

Teddy Moodley, ambassador of Bread of Heaven said the turnout was amazing considering the heat.

BoH is hoping to expand the run next year by introducing a route that will go through the Port Shepstone CBD.

“With a tuck shop at the event, the number of people taking part in the family run, and sponsors, we hope to have raised lots of funds,” said Moodley.

“The ambassadors enjoyed the run and we thank our marshals, Lazer Security, the SAPS and everyone who participated for making this event a huge success.”
