The Marilyn Medical Fund is inviting all to participate in their raffle draw competition, where you can stand a chance to win a brand new Jojo tank, sponsored by Easy Drain. Port Shepstone resident Marilyn Rampersad was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension three years ago and has been undergoing treatment that has to be followed every alternate month. A committee was formed to assist in raising funds for her treatment. One of the cost factors is transportation from Port Shepstone to Cape Town, where the specialist treatment is offered. The Marilyn Medical Fund put together a raffle as part of their fund raising initiative. The prize for the raffle is a 2200 litre JoJo tank sponsored by Easy Drain. Tickets are R 10 each and are available from committee members. The raffle draw will be done on August 4. “We encourage the public to assist by donation or participating in the raffle. It’s important to stand together, especially in helping community members who are in need of assistance,” said fund PRO Cohen Pillay.
