THE Southcoast Mall parking lot was abuzz on Sunday as scores of patrons showed up for the mall’s second annual car show. The show took place on Sunday, September 30, starting from 10 am. A total of 93 cars entered and the categories included Park Off, Show and Shine, and Sound Off. Exhibitors came with their cars from all over KZN. The attendance increased this year compared to last year and the mall’s foot-traffic showed a favourable increase as well. Many people came along with their families and 100 vouchers were handed out to the attendees on a first-come-first-serve basis for a free coffee and muffin from Bay Tree, courtesy of the Southcoast Mall. “We were delighted with the success of the event and we plan to grow it on an annual basis,” said the mall’s Marketing Manager Jane Pillay.
