A MARINE careers day expo takes place at uShaka Marine World in the April holidays for pupils in Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12.

The four-day course commences on Monday, April 3 and concludes on Thursday, April 6 with the daily classes taking place from 8am until 4pm.

This course provides pupils with an opportunity to learn more about the various marine careers by spending time with staff in the animal health, mammal and bird and aquarium departments.

They will also enjoy practical sessions with an Oceanographic Research Institute marine scientist and attend talks on the variety of university requirements required to enter various marine fields.
