ELDERCARE is offering training to people who want to become professional caregivers to the elderly.

Salome Botes of Eldercare said training will be at the Cansa South Coast offices and is available for anyone who can speak and understand English.

Zulu-speaking trainers are also available to assist those who are not fluent in English.

“The training is for a week and includes a certificate accredited by the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority,” she said.

After the week of training there will be another week where the trainee will be involved in practical work. Training costs R750, including training material.

For more information, Botes can be contacted Salome on 039 976 2555 or 074 891 5149.
