Church donates to needy communities

2018-08-23 06:02

THE youth of African Gospel Church at Murchison Circuit started a social needs campaign where the church members contributed food, clothes, money and household necessities to donate to underprivileged families within the community.

The campaign, led by Yvonne Hadebe who is the church youth chairperson, has helped over five families from March this year by donating clothes, food parcels and household necessities. “Families from Nyandezulu and Murchison had benefited from this campaign,” said church secretary Slindile Nyawose.

She said the church has already started contributing for the next visit as they have committed themselves in showing God’s love to everyone in the community.

“In some of the families we have visited, we saw that there is a need to go back to them and give more because of their situation. We have been encouraged by the word of God in the book of Matthew 25: 42 -46.”
