DESPITE heavy rain last Thursday, the ladies of the Imbizane Mission Church held a Thanksgiving tea in Bushy Vales.

The tea is held at the church every year on the same day as American Thanksgiving.

Jean Humphrey said the tea was a lovely way of getting together with ladies from other denominations and give thanks for the year that is almost over.

Guests went home with a fridge magnet depicting the church and contact details as a souvenir.

Humphrey, on behalf of the congregation, wished everyone a merry Christmas.
