MARBURG Gospel Believers invite the community to visit their church next to Bens Supermarket in Marburg when they hand over cash and food parcels to orphans on Sunday 20 December.

Ethiopian pastor, Habte Joseph, said more than 20 orphaned children, from various South Coast churches, will benefit from the initiative.

“We have spoken to many pastors who identified orphaned children in their church, and they will bring the children to our church for the handover ceremony,” said Joseph.

The aim of the gesture is to show that Ethiopians have love for their fellow African brothers.

“We are doing this to extend our love to the people especially the love God has given us,” he said.

Joseph quoted Galatians 3:20 from the Bible: “Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.’
