Citizens’ movement to launch

2017-04-27 06:01

THE Active Citizens’ Movement (ACM) says it is following the example of people countrywide to note their concern about corruption, greed and rampant disregard for the hard-fought democracy of our country.

The official launch of the movement will be at Marburg Secondary on May 1, at 4.30pm.

Some of the issues affecting the community on the agenda include the alienation of public officials from the people, lack of delivery, inequality, corruption and misuse of public money, erosion of promoting the principles of accountability and an active citizenry and good governance. A keynote speaker will address the launch. - Supplied.
