ROBBERY and housebreaking victims can recover their belongings after stolen goods were recovered by police near Batstones Drift in Port Shepstone recently.

Residents can identify their lost or stolen property at the Port Shepstone Police Station.

Sergeant Zama Hlatswayo and Constable Lizo Ntuli allegedly found the property in a shopping trolley.

Police recovered goods including household appliances and clothing.

One male suspect was arrested and additional alleged stolen property was recovered by W/O Reelan Govender, Sergeant Rene Naidoo, Warrant Officer Gerhardus Prinsloo from the 10111 Centre and SAPS K9 members.

“The public can come and check if any of their belongings are at the station. They can contact the station directly,” said police spokesperson Petros Mpinge. — Supplied.
