THIS past weekend Halfway Toyota hosted their annual Restoration Cup at Port Shepstone Country Club.

The Restoration Cup began in 1959 to honour the coming together of neighbouring clubs, members and a host of people working together to restore the club.

Squash, bowls and golf tournaments were held over two days.

On Saturday six teams played a doubles squash tournament, over both days 120 golfers in 30 four balls participated and bowls were played on Sunday.

One of the organisers, Ian Smith, said: “It was an excellent tournament with good quality games and lots of fun, thanks to Halfway Toyota.”

The cup ended on Sunday afternoon with a prize giving presentation to winning teams by Halfway Toyota.
