College contributes to pupil’s trip

MORE good news keeps coming for Uzile Mbambo, the young actress who is preparing for a trip to Orlando and New York for acting auditions.

Creston College principal Noel Coetzee said the school is to contribute towards Uzile’s trip and are delighted with the young actress.

“We are very proud of Uzile, She is a wonderful ambassador not only for Creston College and the South Coast, but for South Africa as a whole. Hopefully she will become the next Charlize Theron of Creston.”

He said at Creston they are blessed with pupils who aim to develop their talent.

“I believe this is the first time a Creston College pupil has been selected at international level and as Creston we want to raise our pupils to this level,” he said.

Uzile thanked the school for the contribution and said that every cent counts towards her trip.

Uzile thanked her teacher Tsepho Oliphant for his contribution towards her career­.

She said she has come up with many ideas to raise funds for her trip.

“We have come up with a few ideas to raise money and I hope the plans will be put into action soon. I thank those who have generously contributed thus far.”

Uzile will be leaving for the U.S. on 23 July and will spend 10 days at Disney World and boot camp.
