Colour festival enchants

2017-03-23 06:03

IT was a splash of colour and unity at The Shree Hanuman Sanathan Dharma Sabha Madir and the Hindu Cultural Federation at the annual Holi celebration at Marburg Sports Complex on Saturday.

The festival hosted people of different races, and from various religious organisations and temples.

Entertainment included live music, dancing, prayers and the lighting of a bonfire, which signified a celebration of the loss of evil and bad luck.

Attendees were served supper, followed by the splashing of colours, bringing families and friends together in a celebration of an ancient Hindu spiritual festival.
