Councillor’s family live in fear after shooting

2016-07-07 06:00

AFTER the recent shootings at Cllr Mosley Lubanyana's home that resulted in the death of her sister Ntokozo Lubanyana, the family are living in fear.

Lubanyana’s sister Tholakele Lubanyana said the incident was like a movie.

“It happened so fast and its clear that the gun shots were not meant for Ntokozo, but for Mosley.”

She said looking through the door glass the attackers must have thought they were shooting at Mosley.

“Both my sisters, Mosley and Ntokozo, are the same size and the attackers must have been sure it was Mosley they were shooting at and fired more shots even when they saw her lying on the ground.”

She said they continue to live in fear because the attackers know they shot the wrong person and can return at any time, although they are under police protection and are grateful for this.
