A WOMAN, aged 45, was arrested at the Port Shepstone Taxi Rank during a crime intelligence driven operation on Saturday for dealing in drugs.

Officers from the Crime Intelligence Unit, 10111 Call Centre, K9 Unit and Port Shepstone DPCI arrested the woman for being in possession of 325 capsules of heroin with a street value of R18 750.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant-Colonel Zandra Wiid said more arrests were made on the day for various offences.

“Fourteen people were also charged for being in possession of small quantities of dagga and paid admission of guilt fines,” said Wiid.

Police also sent a strong message to those selling liquor without a licence as 144 bottles was confiscated during the operation. - Supplied.
