MSENTI Cultural Group played host to eight tourists from Norway and seven from Sweden on Sunday.

The tourists viewed a presentation by the group showcasing the talent of the Zulu culture.

Group founder Victor Jaca said the presentation left the tourists wanting more.

“As part of the presentation the tourist were welcomed by matrics from the “Pass Your Matric” programme initiated by Msenti Academy, which told them how the academy assists matriculants.”

The academy also prepared a corner for an arts and crafts display by fashion designer, Mpume Gumede, who designs beaded jewellery.

“We hosted eight guests from Norway, our main sponsor, and seven from Sweden, a family which has also shown an interest in sponsoring the academy.

“Our guests were amazed by the group’s presentation and said they will be more than happy to visit the academy again,” said Jaca.

The group’s next presentation, also with guests from Sweden and Norway, will be on 18 March at the academy
