“FIREWORKS”, is how coach and Gamalakhe Football Association member Sbongiseni Ngcobo described the games played at the Gamalakhe Youth Development League over the weekend.

Ngcobo said the game of the day was between Supersport and All Stars.

“Supersport continued with their unbeaten run when they faced All Stars, in a game that everyone regarded as the game of the day. The match was action packed, stirring up excitement for the supporters, especially when Supersport scored its first goal. The All Stars matched the goal a few minutes after. The mighty Supersports would not allow a draw and in the last minute of the game they scored their winning goal,” said Ngcobo.

The results for the day were: Citizens 2-1 Young Achivers, Supersport 2-1 All Stars, Lekelela 2-0 Giant Killers, Sea Eagles 2-2 Tigers, Sunshine 1-1 Tigers Boys and Glamour Boys 7-1 Hot Spurs.

Ngcobo said the league continues.
