Dine and dance for Cansa this Movember

2015-11-11 06:00

PUT on your best and don’t forget your “moushie” this Movember as Cansa hosts a dinner and dance to raise funds and awareness about the campaign.

Movember focuses on men’s health, particularly prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity.

Cansa and The WoW Factor have planned campaigns to try get men to get screened.

“The WoW Factor, St Michael Sands and Marikas Bridal Lounge are putting together an awareness dinner dance,” said Tessa Green from The WoW Factor.

The event takes place at St Michael Sands on Saturday, 7 November at 6.30pm for 7pm.

The cost is R150 per person and Due South will provide entertainment.

For tickets call 039 315 1230 or 071 667 2900.

Apart from that, every Friday now is “His Mouchie Fridays”.

Companies and their staff, including women, are encouraged to either grow their “mouchies” or wear a fake one on a Friday.

“We would like the companies to register with Cansa if they are willing to come on board with the campaign and charge staff R5 every Friday to sport a “mouchie,” said Green.

To register contact Sesethu on 039 682 7680.
