A FESTIVAL organised to unite the South Coast against community challenges will be held in Uvongo and Margate this weekend.

The South Coast for Jesus will see community members of all races and age groups come together on Friday and Saturday September 1 and 2 for a three-segment movement for change.

Starting off the festival will be a “Youth on Fire” praise and worship gathering at Douglas Mitchell Sports Ground on Friday from 5.30pm to 8pm.

On Saturday the “Feet on Fire” parade through Margate takes off at the Margate Promenade at the Margate main beach from 7am to start walking at 8am.

Organisers encouraged all to bring banners and flags to this segment to mark the event. The festival’s activities will be rounded up by a “Hearts on Fire” event at Douglas Mitchell at 3.30pm featuring four worship bands and seven local speakers.
