CONGRATULATIONS to the Port Shepstone and Umzinto SAPS for the awards they won at a ceremony in Durban on Friday.

This shows there are men and women in blue who are making strides in the fight against crime. It takes the police and the community to effectively fight crime. It is up to the community now to recognise the work SAPS have covered and then see where we can assist.

We also congratulate the Warriors for winning the Nashua Sevens rugby competition and wish them all the best as they travel to Matatiele this weekend to take part in the Usher Cup.
