Editor’s Note

2018-12-20 06:00

It has been an eventful week indeed.

To all the clubs holding their year-end events, well done for an amazing year. From sports clubs to community organisations like the Lions, keep up the good work!

The South Coast is going to have its very own Unisa campus within the next two years, a fantastic prospect that is going to see the town blossom even more. It has also been refreshing to see members of the community working together with local safety forums and security companies to ensure a safer festive season.

Now that schools are out, parents may have their hands full, but thankfully the South Coast is brimming with activities such as the Shelly Centre Vibe Van, the Kidz Zone at Southcoast Mall, and beach festivals. Do be vigilant and practice safe driving when hitting those roads. The police will be conducting several road blocks as well, so look out for those and arrive alive.

Happy reading.
