Eight Ugu Jazz Festival park-and-ride venue names released

ALL roads lead to annual Ugu Jazz Festival this weekend.

The festival starts with a pre-party on 24 June, The main event is on 25 June and to end the festival, there is a picnic on Sunday 26 June.

Eight park-and-ride venues have been set - Olwandle High in Gamalakhe, Margate Town Hall, Gamalakhe T.B. Molefe Sports Field, St Michael’s Beach, Gamalakhe TVET College, St Martins De Porres sports ground, Uvongo Town Hall and Margate Airport.

Siyabulela Ngesi of Cyassounds said shuttles will pick up people as they come from the park-and-ride venues.

“The shuttles will be available all night for those who arrive late and for those who would like to go home early,” said Ngesi.

Security to the park-and-ride venues is assured, as officers have been appointed at each of the venues and extra lighting has been arranged.
