THERE is less than two weeks to go until the second annual Hibiscus Coast Challenge that takes place on 27 April and entry is still open.

The race consists of a 48km, 24km and a 10km run-walk. The start and finish is at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre.

The route has been designed to showcase all the great aspects of the Hibiscus Coast. It will do a loop through Gamalakhe then head down to Shelly Beach where it will follow Marine Drive through to Uvongo, where it will go down to the beachfront all the way through to Manaba, then through Margate and onto Ramsgate. Runners then turn right at Pistols and head up the P600 all the way past the airport and back to Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre.

There will be a children’s play area, as well as refreshments on sale.

To enter, contact Kim Jones on 084 511 7651 or email southcoaststriders.mar gate@gmail.com for more information and details.
