KZN Rawson Property Group staff gathered at Rawson Property Hibiscus Coast House in Uvongo on Friday to cool off after a rally around the South Coast.

The Rawson team then handed over educational items to NPO Phenduka Centre for Motivation and Change.

Phenduka Centre was started in July in Oslo Beach and deals with community outreach, community development for women and men and educational development in rural and underdeveloped schools.

Debbie Conlon, Phenduka founder, said she is grateful for the donation from Rawson, which will change the lives of the children in one of their beneficiary schools in Bizana, Eastern Cape.

Johan Nieuwoudt, Rawson Properties Hibiscus Coast office manager, said it is an initiative that gives back to the community and thanked staff who contributed to the donation.

After the handover a lucky draw was done where attendees submitted their business cards and winners walked away with prizes, which included a weekend away worth R5 000, zipline tickets and a boat ride.

Pamella Naicker won the weekend away, Thembi Nzama won the boat ride and Erine Kleyn won the zipline tickets.
