Family ‘health’ event well supported

ABOUT 50 cyclists and walkers took part in the CANSA Active Family Cycle event at the Burry Stander Bike Park on Sunday.

The event was fun for the family and after the walk and cycle, supporters relaxed at the coffee shop at the park while lucky draw prizes were handed out.

Mandie Stander said she delighted to support the event and was pleased to see everyone come out to the park and support CANSA.

“Everyone has been affected by cancer in some way and we must all do our bit to help CANSA fund-raise so that they are able to conduct screenings and research,” said Stander.

“The Burry Stander Bike Park supports CANSA in promoting and leading healthy lifestyles. Some cycle, some walk, some jog. We all have to do something to stay fit and healthy,” she added.
