Family seeks missing man

THE family of Marshal Applegreen (45) from Duranta Road, Wentworth is urging the community to kindly assist them in finding Applegreen who was last seen at Cest Si Bon in Shelly Beach.

Applegreen’s older sister, Taba Applegree,n said her brother left home on April 27 and said that he was going with his friend to the South Coast.

“According to information from his friends when they got to the South Coast on the 28th, my brother and the friend he travelled with had an altercation and he left him behind,” said Applegreen.

She said that they are very concerned as her brother has epilepsy and has no friends or relatives on the South Coast.

“We have called all the hospitals and mortuaries in the area and we still have had no luck in locating him.”

The sister describes Applegreen to be medium height, with brown eyes.

“He also has a small beard, no front teeth and has a hole on one of his legs, I am just not sure which one,” said Taba

Applegreen was last seen wearing a white army print bermuda pants and a maroon sweater.

“A missing person report has been made with the police in Wentworth and we have placed flyers all over Port Shepstone and we urge the community to assist us with any information about my brother.”

Port Shepstone police spokesperson Colonel Zandra Wiid said that she cannot confirm the case as it was opened in Wentworth.
