THE third annual Gamalakhe Music Festival to be held at T.B Molefe Stadium on 26 December is expected to boost tourism in the area as it is expected draws revellers from far and wide.

On Wednesday last week, local artists, the media and Ray Nkonyeni Municipality (RNM) officials were invited to the festival’s launch at Desroches Hotel in Margate.

Artists billed to perform include Babes Wodumo, Mpumi, DJ Andy X, DJ Bongz, Professor, DJ Mdix (Mvulo), DJ 101 and many others.

Actors from the popular drama Uzalo will also make an appea- rance.

RNM municipal manager Max Mbili said he is happy with the quality of the event and one of the municipality’s long term goals is to develop all areas and promote economic growth.
