First annual talent search in Gamalakhe

BLACK Gecko Films and Massive Entertainment will be launching the first music talent search in Gamalakhe­ Z.G. community on 31 December.

Vala Zama of Black Gecko Films said the search is to promote and further­ the musical talent of local and upcoming artists.

Zama said the brand ambassador for this project is Chilli Bite of iZulu Lami who will be sharing his story about what it takes to make it big in the industry.

“Entry to the competition is free,” said Zama, who invites

all South Coast singers and artists who dream of having their own music video.

“All genre’s of music are welcome. The prize for the winning entry will be a music video worth R5 000 and a cash prize of R2 000.”

Entrants of any age are welcome and registration will be done on the day.

As part of entertainment and demonstration of how the music video will be done, Massive Entertainment will be showing one of their music videos which was recently shot by Black Gecko Films.

Doors will open at 10am on the day.
