GAMALAKHE Football Association (GFA) chairman Aron Ntozakhe died on Monday night after a short illness.

He was an employee of Ray Nkonyeni Municipality and a soccer veteran.

According to a member of the football association, Ntozakhe had complained of body pain.

Sbo Ngcobo, who worked with Ntozakhe said he had also been the chairman of the Korea Football Club since 2006.

Ngcobo said because of his strong leadership qualities, Ntozakhe was elected to chair GFA in 2009.

“Ntozakhe was the chair of the GFA from 2009 until his last day on Earth. He had a passion for football and enjoyed it with all his heart.

“Football won’t be the same without him,” said Ngcobo.
