A 23-YEAR-OLD woman and her 24-year-old relative and Muhammad Abdul Carim, appeared in Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.

The pair was charged with fraud in January after the woman, Muhibbath Razak allegedly allegedly stole R800 000 and transferred the money into family member’s bank accounts.

Razak was under the employ of a cash-in-transit company at the time, from where she allegedly stole the funds.

Razak and Carrim were arrested in Gauteng after she fled Port Shepstone.

Both accused are out on bail of R2 000 each. They will appear in court again on 19 September.
