GAMALAKHE Clinic is next in line for Cansa’s “We Can, I Can” campaign. The campaign was launched by Cansa on 4 February and as part of the campaign Sister Busi Mbatha and Sesethu Senene visit clinics offering free breast-cancer screenings.

Recently Senene and Mbatha visited Bhethane and examined 47 women.

“As Cansa we are pro-prevention and early detection, so the visits offer free screenings for women and men without the cost of having to consult private doctors,” Senene said.

Women are invited to attend a free screening at Gamalakhe Clinic next week.

“On 26 February we will be in Gamalakhe providing the same services, free of charge. We encourage women and men to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity.”

It is rare for men to get breast cancer, but it does happen, said Senene.
