THE Gamalakhe Academy soccer teams are seeking donations and sponsorship of soccer balls and uniforms. The club has four teams U13, U15, U17 and 19.

“I was invited to watch a match between Gamalakhe Soccer Academy first team and Barcelona Margate at T.B. Molefe Stadium in Gamalakhe. I was amazed at what I saw. This club is battling to keep alive and relies on donations in order to buy soccer balls and have a team uniform,” said Guy Yeadon, one man who was invited to watch the team playing.

He said clubs are doing a good job of getting the youth to participate in sport which builds good relationships and keeps them off the streets.

“These guys need donations of soccer balls and travelling expenses, among other issues. If anyone can assist, we ask them to do so,” said Yeadon.

To donate or sponsor, contact Yeadon on 082 881 0203 or 039 315 0555.
