THE potholes on the road from Gamalakhe to Margate, via the airport, are just too much.

This road needs serious repairs as a driver cannot even drive on one side of the road.

Over the weekend I was driving on that road and nearly went into the bush trying to duck the deep trenches.

The damage these holes can do to one’s tyres and rims is out of this world, and they get bigger by the day.

Why is the municipality giving out tenders to contractors who use cheap material that don’t last? They should find a permanent solution to this problem.

There is not even a warning sign on the road, you only know there a pothole once you hit one.
