PARAMEDICS declared two people dead in an accident on the R61 in the Glenmore area involving a bus and an SUV on Tuesday.

When paramedics arrived, they found the remains of an SUV with three people entrapped, two of whom were declared dead at the scene.

Kwazulu Private Ambulance spokesperson Belinda Catchpole said the front passenger were extricated and taken to hospital.

She said reports indicate that the deceased were on holiday on the South Coast.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
