Hospice happenings

2016-02-11 06:00

TAKE your marker and a calendar and make note of these important South Coast Hospice fund-raisers.

Hospice will host various events this year and the community is urged to show their support.

Treat your loved one to the Valentine’s brunch on Saturday, 13 February at the Venture Inn.

The theme is “wear your heart on your sleeve” and tickets cost R80 per person.

This includes a welcome drink and brunch, buffet-style.

A hamper will be raffled at R10 a ticket and the winner will be announced on the day. Tickets are limited.

Get fit and healthy with Hospice in March. Whether you choose to run, walk, cycle, use a wheelchair, pram, walker or crutches, make sure you are there.

The event starts at Lilicrona Boulevard on Uvongo beach on 21 March at 8am. The cost is R25 per person. There will be lots of great food on sale after the event.

Elvis Is Back! at the Port Shepstone Country Club on 18 June. Tickets cost R180 per person. This includes a three- course meal, lucky draws and a prize for the best dressed.

The theme is rock ‘n roll. All funds raised will go towards Hospice patient care. For more details, contact BT King on 039 682 3031.
