KHANYA Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald was pleasantly surprised when he was invited to Thara Moodley’s salon in the Goodhope Centre, Umzinto.

The reason for the invitation was because Moodley and her staff had collected, among themselves, R1 000 for Hospice Cancer Awareness Day, which they donated to Hospice.

Moodley also made a donation of clothes and groceries.

“All the donations get put together and this is how we are able to do what we do best, which is offer free palliative nursing to people who are terminally ill and support to their families,” said McDonald.

Anyone wanting to donate to Hospice, can phone 039 973 1783/0277 or email hospice@scottnet.co.za
