HELD in spring each year at the Harding Country Club, the Ingeli Country Show is one of South Africa’s favourite hinterland shows.

This year heralds the 14th iteration of the event and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Enjoy a weekend out in the beautiful surrounds of the Harding area while being entertained by a multitude of diverse events and competitions.

The programme starts on Saturday 17 September and includes a putting compo, bass compo, Zulu dancers, bell compo, drone demo, chainsaw compo, clay shooting and a children’s tug of war.

There is also a live screening of the Boks versus the All Blacks, which kicks off at 9.30am.

Saturday night’s entertainment line-up starts at 6pm and runs until late.

Tickets are available at the gate and are only R100. With bands Four5Seconds and Rifle performing, visitors are sure to be well entertained until late.

The Miss Ingeli takes place on Sunday, 18 September from 9am to 10am.

With so much on offer, including food, a beer and tea garden as well as a coffee coach to keep the hunger at bay this is most definitely one event the family should attend.

“This two-day show showcases the spirit of the community and the diverse offerings of the area.

“The line-up of exhibitors and entertainment promises to be entertaining, we would like to extend our congratulations to the organisers for their commitment to ensuring the success of this great annual event,” said Ugu South Coast Tourism CEO Justin Mackrory.

Tickets for adults are R20 and children under 18 R10.
