SOUTH Coast Hospice has become a popular venue on Thursdays as friends, colleagues and family gather at the Hospice Day Care lounge for a cup of tea or coffee and delicious eats.

Spotted last Thursday was a group of colleagues from the Beekman Group in Port Shepstone who came during their tea break to relax with the Hospice team.

Families were also there to remember their late loved ones who were in the care of Hospice.

Hospices fund-raiser B.T. King said this is a very social initiative in an environment where everyone can relax and enjoy “small talk”.

The staff take turns to bring eats to share with heir visitors, and last Thursday someone donated a cake for the occasion. Hospice invites people to join its every Thursday from 10am until 2pm.
