FEVER editor Vusi Mthalane accepted the Wild 5 Charity Challenge and did the Wild Swing at Oribi Gorge on Sunday. Situated at the top of Lehr’s Waterfall, this is the highest swing of its kind in the world.

The jump was to benefit the Khula Community Crêche, which is part of the Outreach branch of the Genesis Trust Community Initiative.

The project provides the following services to the Mahlabatini Community.

• a day crèche, which can cater for 120 children aged between two and four;

• operating kitchen providing daily meals for the crèche children and pupils from Enxolobeni Primary;

• reading and learning facilities;

• outside play area which boasts a soccer ground;

• craft centre for community ladies;

• weekly health clinic; and

• vegetable gardens.

The initiative is co-founded by husband and wife team Paul and Josanne Jeffreys, owners at Wild 5 Adventures and with Innovative Marketing, they aim to raise much-needed funds.
