“TO improve the education of our children as a fundamental right, and encouraging them to concentrate on their subjects till they reach the sky, is our dream.”

These were the words of Speaker of the KZN Legislature Lydia Johnson when visiting Sithembinkosi Primary School in the Ray Nkonyeni Municipality in Gamalakhe area last Thursday, September 13. A generous donation was made to the 50 children, including school uniforms and sanitary towels. Johnson encouraged adults in the community to help develop their children so that they will become responsible citizens for the country.

She was accompanied by some members of the legislature and they all called on local government to assist schools that are in need.
