PHUMLANI Sibusiso Ngidi (34) and Khanyisile Khusi (46) have been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Mxolisi Langazana (17), whom they admitted to killing to harvest his body parts for muthi.Ndigi, a traditional healer from the Nkpothaneni area near Margate, was arrested on Marine Drive in Margate last month when he was found with human body parts which he was selling for about R4 000 each. His co-accused and assistant Khusi was later also taken into custody after Ngidi confessed to colluding with her to kill Mxolisi for his body parts. The pair appeared in the Pietermaritzburg High Court on Tuesday and were sentenced to life in prison for the murder. Port Shepstone SAPS spokesperson Captain Petros Mpinge confirmed the sentences. “Both suspects appeared in the Pietermaritzburg High Court on November 6 and both received terms of life imprisonment for murder,” said Mpinge.
