ON Sunday, July 15, local NPO Touched by an Angel left many hearts smiling when they performed no less than three charity drives for various organisations in Port Shepstone and surrounds.

The NPO, which focuses on providing support and relief to the needy, visited the Assisi Convent, Genesis and the Emseni Child and Youth Centre on the day where they donated various items and shared a meal with the residents at the centres.

The organisation was joined by Durban-based beauty queen Mrs India South Africa finalist Natasha Nayager at their drives.

“We were honoured to have Mrs India South Africa finalist Natasha Nayager present at our feedings, making it a blessed and special day.

“Thank you Angels for all your love and support which made the day a memorable one,” said Cookie Basudeo, chairperson of Touched by an Angel.
