Man recovering after accident

LAST week the Fever published an article on an accident that took place on Sunday night killing one man, identified as Mlungisi Juise Nciki
(Beloved colleague killed in car crash, page 1).

The information surrounding the details of the accident, which came from a police report, indicated that the bakkie involved in the accident contained two occupants, however, only one person was in the bakkie.

The Fever stated that the occupant sustained moderate injuries, however, his injuries were serious.

This was brought to the publication’s attention by the man’s family and according to them [family] he had undergone extensive surgery and is now in the process of recovery.

The man’s family extends their sincere condolences to the family and friends of Nciki.

“We extend our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

“Our purpose of contacting the publication was merely to correct certain facts about the incident which were incorrect,” said the family member.

The Fever apologises for any inconvenience caused.
