LAST Saturday, Hope Park in Marburg came alive as artists took to the stage to entertain the Port Shepstone community.
The concert was an initiative by Reverend Danny Chetty of Practical Ministries, whose family faced tragedy last year when the youngest sibling, Rajen Chetty, spent more than 100 days in ICU and on life support.
The event was a celebration of his remarkable recovery. Responding to the invitation people came from all over KZN to be a part of this memorable day.
A flea market and children’s activities started off the day and at 2pm artists took to the stage.
The line-up included Reverend Chetty, Jesse Pillay, Christopher Pillay and legendary musician, Steve Fataar, supported by local musicians.
Chetty would like to thank all sponsors and everyone who assisted in making the event a success.
