THE Ugu cluster SAPS are appealing to members of the community for assistance with regards to the whereabouts of Cynthia Lungeleni Ngidi (42) from Amahwaqa.

Ngidi was reported missing after last being seen at 11 am on February 29 in the Dududu area, where she stays with her mother. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt.

A neighbour informed Ngidi’s mother that she had been seen walking towards the local store but a search for her proved fruitless.

SAPS spokesperson Captain Nqobile Gwala said Ngidi is mentally challenged.

Gwala appealed to anyone with information to contact Detective Constable Cyprian Zwelonke Khathi of the Dududu SAPS Detective Service on 039 974 0151, 072 494 9551, Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or their nearest police station.
